Kelly has more than 27 years of automotive dealership ownership and management experience and has received General Motor's Triple Crown Award, Ford Motor Company President's Award, and Honda Canada's Excellence Award. His vast automotive operational, financial and administrative expertise has led him to be the architect of the PowerBand Exchange. Kelly presently owns two domestic dealerships. Previously he worked for the World Trade Centre in Toronto, the Toronto Harbourfront Commission and Revenue Canada.
Mike brings over 25 years of business experience in the private and public sector to PowerBand. He has an extensive background in working with technology companies in scaling and financing their operations in the United States, and elsewhere across the globe. He has worked with companies in New York, Silicon Valley, London and Canada. Mike has also worked in the public sector in the role of Canadian Foreign Service Officer Consul and Senior Economic Development Officer for the Province of Ontario. Previously, Mike worked on Wall Street with several hedge funds and investment banking firms, including Goldman Sachs. He has served as a strategic advisor to various technology companies in the financial services, insurance, Internet of Things, security and intelligence, online payments and cryptocurrency sectors. Mike has extensive experience in the automotive OEM, OES and dealer market, having worked with Toyota, FCA, GM, Ford, BMW, Mercedes, Continental and other global Original Equipment partners.
Jing is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant. He has worked in public accounting for the past fourteen years. Since December 2010, Jing has been the senior financial analyst at Marrelli Support Services Inc., a well-respected supplier of accounting and reporting services. Prior thereto, Jing was a senior accountant at MSCM LLP from June 2009 through December 2010 and at KPMG LLP from January 2007 through June 2009. Jing holds a Master's degree in Management and Professional Accounting from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
Following completion of his MBA, Richard worked in the Investment Banking Division at Citibank Canada in Toronto, Ontario. He subsequently established a corporate finance advisory firm and has successfully provided financial, strategic and management expertise for numerous companies in a variety of industries. Richard has extensive public market experience being a former President, CFO and Director of a TSX-V listed company. Richard was a Founder and original Director of AutoSoldNow, dating back to its launch in 2000 , which was later acquired by PowerBand.
Mr. Chown has accumulated over 20 years of automotive retail experience from holding various management positions in both sales and service, leading to a position of group process and IT Manager for a large automotive group. Since 2009, Mr. Chown has been responsible for PowerBand’s product development and innovation. Jamie brings a deep knowledge of both automotive and technology sectors and continues to apply his skills and knowledge to drive the PowerBand Platform to become a leading, cloud-based, automotive solution.
Sean has worked for 18 years in the field of information technology for companies focused on enterprise financial solutions, consumer and commercial credit integrations. His experience spans technology, product development, customer relations and management operations, bringing a deep understanding of what it takes to span the gap between product and customer development.
Gord began his 30+ years of experience in the automotive industry in retail sales and F&I management. Gord’s passion for training and coaching led him to hold senior positions providing sales training and product support to dealers across Western Canada. For twenty years, Gord held the position of National Training Manager at the First Canadian Group of Companies. He spent the past two years assisting one of the largest private sale companies expand their business globally to markets such as France, Belgium, Australia, and the U.S.
Mitch is a seasoned automotive executive with over 25 years in the industry. He has led the financing of wholesale vehicles for distribution across Canada and the U.S., dramatically increasing revenues in a short period of time. He has worked with some of the largest automotive IT firms in the used vehicle remarketing space, providing insight into the intricacies of the industry. Mitch has also been involved in building new remarketing channels in the industry.
